Lamps

I had a fantastic time at the market at the weekend, leaving behind all the problems that had happened at home, the atmosphere was brilliant and everyone was in good humour.
 There was about 45  traders that were all selling their handmade goods. It was a fun weekend with dancing and music too, someone made a large pot of soup on Sunday with lots of cakes, pizza, mulled wine, so lots of chatting and action was going on most of the day.

 This is one of the photos that I took, it isnt very good quality as my camera decided to play up that day, the picture is of some beautiful  handmade lamps, made by a girl that I know, and  are wonderful, they are made from driftwood, handmade paper, scrim, dried leave and materials from nature.The natural colours were lovely too. 

The lamps were rather expensive for me, otherwise I would have loved one.

 I will put more pics on a later blog as I must start wrapping my presents to put under the tree
