Last evening we went to watch a film at the studio and hanging on the gate at the entrance were two large circular weavings.
The circular frame was made from willow and had thick fabric as the warp and the weft, I noticed some candlewick woven in, that had obviously been an eiderdown, Im sure you could use any fabric.
I thought it would make a good community project as they looked very effective.
