These lovely marigolds arrive all over the place in our fields and stay around almost all of the year. They are such a pretty flower and I really love having them around the house, especially this time of the year when the wild flowers are quite scarce, their golden yellow is such a happy colour and makes me feel sunny and warm
Today I have decided to paint an old chest of drawers and thought I would splash a bit of marigold colour onto the white paint, I know this sound pretty rough but it sounds quite nice and may turn my bedroom into more of a sunny area. I'll let you know what the finish looks like another time.
